Utility Suit

I love this. With the caveat that the torso is a little bit short, so if you bend over a lot, probably get the Tank Suit instead (which is totally delightful and I did not have the same experience with that suit). I’ve been layering this with a long-sleeved bodysuit for colder weather, but I love it on its own now that it’s warming up. The elastic in the waist gives it just enough shape while still being roomy. The green is not as dark as the model shots show, but it’s still a really rich hue. It’s on heavy rotation, and I’m considering a second colorway, even. The fabric is lighter than the utility dress fabric, which I wasn’t expecting, but I think it’s a smart choice. Heavier fabric would have pushed the whole thing into coverall territory and dramatically reduced the seasons it would work in. Overall a winner for me.

Color is exactly what I expected and the quality is steller. So versatile. My only slight complaint is the consistancy of sizing. I comfortably wear small in the Utility dresses and sized up to a medium for a previous utility suit, which felt like it was better made for someone 3-5 inches shorter than I am. For reference, I wear 6-8 (medium) in most brands and am 5'6. Large is better for a looser fit but still feels slightly short in the torso area.
